MAGGOTS. it worked really well for a while, cats seemed to like it okay. howveer, 1 since its made of plastic it helped cause cat chin acne, 2, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO WATCH IT CAREFULLY. if you plan to get this, keep a close eye on the inside of it and make sure to buy filters to swap our. imo, normal cat water bowls are easier and work just as well. i found maggots in the water and in the machine part, my cats have been throwing up and i refill the water once every 1-2 days. maybe it was my own fault for not cleaning it well enough, idk.

Purchased for our cats along with a time release feeder while we travel. 1-The Positives-had it for over a year and zero issues. pump works well. Ability to see the water level. Older cat loves to sit next to it to listen to the water. r level2- The Negatives- is the constant change of filters at least every 2 weeks. Stainless would've been better. Easier to keep off the bacteria. 3-The Neutral-That said cleaning requires attention. You need to take it apart which is really simple. I recommend a small cheap eyelash brush from a dollar store. My wife had some unused ones, so I "borrowed" one ;). It's really good at getting into all the crevasses (if anyone has a better brush) Very important to separate the pump case. Pop it open and clean it every time you change your filters. It took me a few cleanings to realize after noticing the water would cloud up and smell even after cleaning and the flow was weak.. When you pop it open you will be able to clean it easily. It's best to keep it away from the food if possible. They can accidently drop food particles when they go drink or even the owner feeding can drop a morsel without realizing and contaminate it. That's where the smell comes from. I recommend it. We have a 42 pound Shepherd Akita mix. We were using the standard metal bowl, that needed constant changing and cleaning. While I definitely grabbed too small of a size, we opted to use this as a second bowl. My girl only uses this fountain now. She wont touch her bowl. What's really nice about this bowl, outside the cool water fountain feature, is that it forces my dog to drink slower and not as rushed. This means far less cleanup around the bowl. I like the blue light which easily identifies the water line, plus provides a nice nightlight, too. Highly recommend but make sure you know the size. I'm buying a much bigger one, but this is a must buy!!

I have had this for about a year now and it's a life changer!!! Keeps your fur babies water clean!! I recommend it 100 percent!! You can beat the price either! I also our purchased the extra filters.

Easy to assemble, the cats were wary at first to approach it, but now they love it. The filter gets disgusting so I’m assuming it’s doing its job 🤪 happy to spoil the kitties with a good watering bowl!

We love this for our pups. Easy to clean and very durable. It's also very quiet so no need to worry about unplugging it at night. Can be refilled without dissembling anything as well, just pour slowly so you don't get a puddle on the floor.

I was hesitant at first, but it turned out to be a great buy. We were tired of our cat tipping over the water dish. He has not been able to tip this over it lights up a pretty blue color. It is very quiet. Most of all my cat likes it.

Multiple spouts (floral pattern) give the cat a more interesting place to drink from - options. She starts on one side and works her way around to the other side getting water from many of the spouts each time. Perfect flow rate. Doesn’t make a mess and easy to clean. Love the light as well.

I've had this product for a few months and it works very well, and has stopped my cats from splashing water all over the place. It's easy to clean and maintain. My only small complaint is that I still end up having to add water every single day because if the water is not at the max line it gets very loud.

This fountain is amazing! Zero sound there’s a light that you can turn on and off if your cats can’t see the fountain . The fountain comes with a filter and you don’t really need to buy filters until 2-3 months later because you can just clean it in the sink along with the sponge in the pump. If it starts to get noisy then check the filter make sure that it’s clean and good to go. All it needs is a rinse maybe a little soap ( it will help to let it soak in hot water also) and you are on your way!( It also comes with a mat to put the fountain on )I definitely recommend! 😁

Every new thing I bring in for the gang of 3 gets the same response. One cat likes it, one ignores it and one is sure it exists just to annoy them. Loved the idea of filtered water but had very low expectations that any of them would use it. Imagine my surprise when each of them started drinking from it almost immediately. One drinks from the pool on the top, one from the water flow and one from the top of the flower, so no agreement on where the water is best but I’m taking what I got. When I put it back together after cleaning it the first time, the motor made a noise. All quiet once I clicked everything into place. After 4 weeks, I absolutely recommend this but cannot predict what your cat will decide.

I have tried virtually every type of pet fountain available from super expensive stainless multi-tier versions to cheap knock offs of this one. This is by far the best there is, and I am on my second one of these. Long lasting pump, easy to clean design, ultra quiet, internal light, and a water level indicator for about $25. All of these need to be replaced after a period of time, but on most of the inexpensive ones the pump will die within about 6 months. For the expensive stainless ones, the outer basin will quickly become stained and corroded if you have any level of hard water, which pretty much defeats the entire concepts of the stainless being hypoallergenic.

Easy to setup, easy to clean and my cat likes it! Appreciate the little waterproof pad that comes with it to protect my flooring from any splashing. Also easy to see when the water level is down and replacement of the filters is also super simple. Kind of wish I'd splurged for the one with the stainless exterior but the plastic is just fine.

Cleaning is simple enough, the unit breaks down into manageable pieces and nothing is hard to reach.The included filters are a nice touch and replacements are reasonably priced. My only small gripe is the plastic exterior shows water spots fairly easily, so it needs a quick wipe down every few days to look presentable. Great product but I’ve had for just over a year now and it’s already starting to go. The water fountain use to be very quite and had a strong stream but now is loud with barely a trickle.

I first purchased this to encourage a semi feral outdoor cat to drink more water thinking it was cheap enough not be be worried about leaving outside. I quickly realized the unit was nicer than I expected and decided to try it inside. My indoor cats warmed up to it quickly and fell in love. I was VERY diligent at first and cleaned it/changed the water every 2 days while using the included charcoal filter. I wasn't sure the filter was having a positive effect and decided to stop using it. After some time passed I remained somewhat diligent about changing out the water and cleaning it and the pump filter every 4-5 days. I've also replaced the pump filter multiple times in the 8 months I've had it. Last night I was doing my usual clean of the unit which includes using a straw brush on the appropriate parts and running water through the pump itself. A brown pea sized plug like blob came flying out. I continued to run the water through the pump and noticed more smaller particles kept washing out. I'm not sure I feel comfortable using the unit for my cats anymore, I'm worried about the bacteria build up. I assumed this would be a difficult thing to keep clean when I purchased it and was genuinely surprised and happy with the unit until now. I have to accept some responsibility for not continuing to use the charcoal filter, which could have prevented much of the build up. So my word of advice to anyone purchasing this unit is to keep on top of cleaning it and make sure you're using the right filters.
